An unemployed man of Suva was jailed for nine months today for stealing a wooden punt from the Suva wharf which he used to board a fishing vessel and steal items belonging to the crew worth $4,160. Jerry Kaitani pleaded guilty to 4 counts of theft before Magistrate Alipate Mataitini today.
